The Artist

Life long San Francisco Bay Area resident Andy Muonio was raised in East San Jose, part of a working class family of eleven. He received his BS in Illustration, a BFA in Pictorial Art (Painting and Printmaking) and an MFA in Pictorial Art all from San Jose State University.

Andy is a retired Arts Educator, having taught students of all levels from elementary to University level. His artwork is eclectic, from abstract to portraiture, but always contains the importance of color and the mark of the brush, from small monotypes to large paintings.
